In the early 2000s, a fellow designer colleague and friend reached out to me; an extended member of her family had contracted her for a photo restoration project, and some of the images had been too badly damaged and were beyond her abilities at the time. She asked me to take a look. There were many scans with stains, scratches from broken glass, fold lines, and even a couple of burned images, all of which required delicate care and close attention. I took over on the more severely damaged images, and together we finished the project. From there, I began to offer photo adjustment, correction, and restoration to my services. I now regularly freelance as a photo editor for a small number of private clients - mainly event photographers, handling their overflow. I specialize in manual lighting and color corrections, bringing balance to the image. I also handle some minor to moderate image corrections, including but not limited to reducing fine lines and wrinkles, reducing or eliminating skin conditions, and removing unwanted objects that appear in the photo.
I operate on an on-going non disclosure contract and the content shown here is personal work or example images.
