One of the more recent event shoots I've done was a two-session engagement set for Vincent and Julianna B.
I took several images for social media and company calendars for a padlock distributor in the San Diego area. They already had images of all of their products from the manufacturers studios already, but wanted to show the products they offered being used out in the real world. They dubbed this series "Locks in the Wild".
I did an 8-month internship in jewelry manufacturing and learned about the process of jewelry creation and repair. The facility supplied to retailers with no storefront or public image of its own, so the images I took were purely for posting on social media, my own practice, and interest. Jewelry is a tricky subject to capture, more so without the proper equipment or experience, but here are a few samples of what I took images of during my time in this position.
One of my first positions working as an in-house graphic designer was for a company that manufactured hookahs, shisha, and other such smoke products for wholesale and they were interested in branching out into retail sales to the public. Their websites and catalogs were last updated in 1997, and during my time with them, I built several websites and product catalogs from scratch. They did not have pictures of almost any of their products, most of what they did have being photocopied or images taken with much older digital cameras, so I ended up taking new photos of close to 5,000 products with various sizes and color variants to take into account.
Another company I worked for manufactured herb grinders and required all-new product photography and print materials to match
